This unique family-owned brand has a rich heritage, dating back 250 years when the Desforges de Caulière family cultivated sunflowers, rapeseed and linseed on the 200 hectare estate, within the Loire Valley Châteaux, in the heart of France.
This family tradition of cultivating the land whilst only using local resources in the highest respect for nature, is at the heart of the Desforges de Caulières creation of MAISON CAULIÈRES.

Oil at the heart of the Desforges de Caulières creation
While cultivating the plants and botanicals grown on the estate, Eric Desforges de Caulières discovered their exceptional virtues, which he had never suspected. As he handled them, he noticed that his hands, became incredibly smoother to the touch from the natural oils.
Created for both men and women, the body products include the highest quality natural vegetable oils, known for their beneficial properties due to their high concentration of essential fatty acids, they nourish and rejuvenate the skin while evoking the scents of the seasons.

Honey at the heart of the Desforges de Caulières tradition
A small-scale production of honey has been carried on in the family for over 100 years. Collected year-round from the L’Epinay farm, the honey has an exceptional texture, taste and smell due to the pollen gathered from sunflowers, linseed, rapeseed grown on the estate.
